Fri 28th May 04 Writer and activist Naomi Klein and her film-director husband Avi Lewis today confirmed that they will be flying over for the Glastonbury Festival at the end of June to meet up with campaigners and to join in the debates at the Glastonbury Left Field. Left Field director and Battersea and Wandsworth TUC organiser Geoff Martin said: "We are thrilled to have Naomi and Avi coming over from Canada to be with us at the Left Field this year and I have to thank our comrade and Left Field troubadour Billy Bragg for setting this up. Naomi Klein: "As a new spirit of direct action has swept the globe, radicalism has returned to the heart of Glastonbury and weıre proud to be a part of the Left Field. Glasto has always been is unique in the way it creates spaces for social and cultural movements to gather, plot, and celebrate and this year will be better than ever."
